I am a doctoral student in the Management Department's Organizational Behavior group at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. I study how workers bring (more or less of) their whole selves to work, with a particular focus on the tensions that they experience to "be professional" while also valuing the non-work aspects of themselves. I use both qualitative and quantitative methods. My work has been published in the Academy of Management Journal and Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, as well as for practitioners in Harvard Business Review.
Prior to my PhD studies, I spent time as a research associate in the Organizational Behavior unit at Harvard Business School and as a conflict resolution facilitator at the University of Michigan. I received my BA with honors in Psychology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
In my free time, I enjoy taking art classes, taste-testing oat chai lattes at coffee shops around the city, and catering to the whims of my two cats.
