I am a PhD Candidate in Organizational Behavior at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. I study the social dynamics of identity development and expression, with a strong interest in how workers navigate their work and non-work identities in the workplace. In practical terms, I aim to help workers feel more aligned with their workplaces and to help organizations encourage, instead of repress, their employees' personal growth.
My work has been published in various academic journals, including the Academy of Management Journal and the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, as well as for practitioners in Harvard Business Review.
Prior to the PhD, I was a research associate in the Organizational Behavior unit at Harvard Business School and a conflict resolution facilitator at the University of Michigan. I received my BA with honors in Psychology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
In my free time, I enjoy taking art classes, taste-testing oat chai lattes at coffee shops around the city, and catering to the whims of my two cats.
